Chaparral Insulation is seeking a qualified Commercial Insulation Superintendent for the Austin area.Chaparral Insulation is seeking an experienced Commercial Insulation Superintendent to lead and oversee our insulation projects in the commercial sector. This role is crucial for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates should have full knowledge of installing all of the following materials:
Ideal candidate should have Foreman/General Foreman experience on working multiple projects with multiple installers under his/her guidance.
Ability to read blue prints, job specifications, and submittals.
Ability to perform material take offs as needed on all projects.
Perform safety meetings and maintain safety requirements of all personnel on all projects.
Knowledge of Insulating HVAC ducts, HVAC pipes, HVAC equipment, plumbing pipes etc... Duct Wrap
Duct Board
Fiberglass Pipe Covering
Armaflex Pipe Covering and Sheeting
Foamglass Insulation
Phenolic Insulation
Urethane Insulation
PVC or Aluminum jacketing
Ability to listen and learn and take direction
Ability to work off ladders of all sizes and in tight spaces
Ability to carry materials to and from workplaces.
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA certification and relevant safety training preferred.
