DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented S2P Team Coordinator to join our team specializing in Purchasing for EMEA Supply Chain Services in Peterborough, UK

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Project Support: By providing administrative and logistics support, you’ll ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Issue Resolution: Your ability to identify, track, and resolve project issues will help keep projects on track and within scope.

  • Status Monitoring: Regularly monitoring and communicating project status will keep the team informed and aligned.

  • Budget Assistance: Assisting with budget planning and tracking will help manage project finances effectively.

  • Risk Management: Using quality tools to identify and manage risks will mitigate potential project setbacks.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Documenting and sharing team learnings will enhance the overall success of projects and benefit other teams.

  • Analytical Support: Providing research and analytical support will contribute to informed decision-making and project planning.

  • Record Maintenance: Keeping detailed project notes, databases, and records will ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Effective Communication and Coordination: Regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports and weekly stakeholder calls require clear communication. Coordinating team attendance and participating in office activities will also be essential.

  • Project Management Skills: Proficiency in managing project issues, risks, resources, schedules, and scope using recommended tools and processes will be crucial for driving project success and ensuring timely completion.

  • Team Management Experience: Experience in managing a team or relevant qualifications (e.g., ILM3/ILM5) will equip you with the necessary skills to lead your team effectively and identify opportunities for efficiency.

  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Attending audits, training, workshops, and staying updated with best practices will help you adapt to changing project requirements and continuously improve your skills and knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/ Experience:

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required.

  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

  • Preferred experience in purchasing.
