Exciting Opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be involved in checking, repairing and servicing machinery, equipment, systems and infrastructures.

What will you do?

  • Ensure that all machinery/equipment/facility aspects run smoothly and reliably with up-time being the primary focus.

  • You will be expected to supervise engineering and technical staff, source and obtain specialist components, fixtures or fittings.

  • Be required to support the development of new team members including mentoring and training apprentices.

Essential skills, knowledge & behaviours

  • Mechanical Engineering (Time served Mechanical Maintenance)

  • Electrical Engineering (basics)

  • Excellent practical and technical skills

  • A good verbal communicator

  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles

  • The ability to work quickly and under pressure

  • Enjoys multi-tasking - the ability to successfully manage a varied workload

  • Proven problem-solving skills

  • The desire and ability to mentor and train others

  • A positive attitude

  • The desire to keep learning and developing

Desirable skills, knowledge & behaviours

  • Coil Boiler Operator Experience

  • Water Treatment Boilers, Domestic & Cooling Towers
