Peru Central School Director of Student Services in Peru, New York
Director of Student Services (12 Month)
Position Overview: The Peru Central School District is seeking an experienced, energetic, innovative, and outcome-oriented district leader for the role of Director of Student Services. The selected candidate will oversee and support all aspects of a comprehensive pre-school, elementary and secondary program for students with disabilities, ensuring full compliance with Federal and State Regulations. Additionally, the Director will oversee the Districts health services, including managing the Districts nurses and serving as the liaison between the Districts Medical/Student Health Service Provider and nursing staff.
Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in Education, including coursework in educational leadership/administration. Certification: New York State SDL or SDA Certification required. Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of successful experience as a teacher, with work experience in educational administration or leadership. Preference is given to candidates with three (3) years of experience as a Building or District Leader in Special Education. Compensation: $95,000 - $115,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
