Role Purpose

The Learning and Development Advisor will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs that align with our organisational goals and values, you will do this through projects and e-learning content. You will also provide administration assistance and be responsible for the new starter's induction and work with the broader L&D team on delivery.

You will be responsible for the management of the learning management system and ensure where applicable compliance is met.

Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes

• Good understanding of key business systems in Capricorn;

• Excellent planning and administration skills with an eye for detail and self-motivated.

• Minimum of Intermediate skills of applications in the Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;

• Demonstrated strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels;

• High level of initiative, creativity and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team;

• A positive and flexible attitude, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

• Strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs;

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in adult learning principles.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (Desirable)

• Tertiary qualified in related subject (Desirable)
