Technical Sales Support Engineer

Purpose of the position
Provide fast technical sales support to regions and extra value to global OEM relations, to support that we win the orders, meet with the customer requirements, and at the same time meet with Bromma profitability/quality/strategy directions.
Review tender and customer specifications and summarize the specification related to Bromma requirements, options, and deviation list.
Support sales with product solutions that fulfils customer expectations as well as Bromma internal targets for profitability, quality, and strategy.
Ensure clear order specification to production at time of order, and that what is delivered is according to the requirements.
The role reports directly to Director, Global Product Support.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Provide technical and commercial support to the regional sales & service teams regarding Bromma crane spreaders, mobile equipment, new equipment, refurbishments, and other related Bromma products.
Propose product solutions that fulfils customer expectations with consideration of existing solutions, cost, price, profitability, lead time, volume, project importance, quality, Bromma strategies
Review tender and customer specifications and summarize the specification related to Bromma requirements, options, and deviation list.
Investigate and advice on cost, price, and lead time information for new design
Ensure clear order specification to production at time of order.
Verify technical drawings correspond to customer needs
Review finished products to ensure they are meeting with specified technical requirements, before the products leave the factory.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES OUTSIDE OF STANDARD JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
When required enter and update technical specification information in Bromma Select for new orders
Support and advice on design to fulfil customer expectations, Bromma internal targets for profitability and quality
Direct communication and support to external customers when necessary in cooperation with the respective Bromma sales management.
Build good relations with customers and OEMs, understand the needs, be creative and proactive in order to improve Bromma relationships.
Participate & present in customer meetings as the technical expertise and in general support sales in the sales process
Assist to analyze global market trends, new technologies & competition to develop Bromma competitiveness
Lead and participate in various projects
Develop training material and hold trainings for the region teams.
Maintain sales support material (backyard data, brochures, data sheets, etc)
Feedback to R&D and product management about product performance & market requirements
Share experience gained from the customers with internal stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed
Education
- BSc or MSc in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering
Preferred Career Experience
- Minimum 10 years working experience in related industry
Technical Skills
Good knowledge of industrial equipment containing, mechanical structures, hydraulics, electrics and control system
Spreader knowledge and experience
Soft Competencies
Able to work with people of diverse background.
A team player with excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills.
Possess strong analytical, good leadership and supervisory skills.
A self-starter who is driven, resourceful, creative, and able to work independently
Good judgement to prioritize between available resources, profitability requirements, and market needs.

Technical interest
Other Requirements
Fluent in English, writing and speaking
Mandarin reading and speaking is an advantage
Other language skills are an advantage
Experience on design tools such as EPLAN, E3 PRO, AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault etc. is an advantage
Knowhow of electrical control system and relevant experience of software platform programming such as CoDeSys or similar is an advantage
