The Corporate Treasury team is looking for a talented and motivated Regional Operations Lead on the Treasury Services Tower team. The position is tasked with activities that include but are not limited to the leadership of treasury processes and projects in the U.S and Mexico, and support of the treasury budget and SOX processes, and the Inventory 180 dealer financing program.
What you will do:
Manages the delivery of treasury processes and projects in the U.S. and Mexico
Manages a team in Mexico supporting the delivery of treasury processes and services
Supports the Global Business Services transformation initiative and works with the Treasury Global Operations Lead to develop and implement global strategies for enhancing treasury processes and procedures
Serves as the Internal Control Coordinator (ICC) for the global Treasury team. Lead audit coordination and execution: Audits – IAAS / Deloitte, SOX Audits, ad-hoc audit requests, liaison with SOX team. This support will include training, review of documentation, testing, and remediation plans
Lead budget coordinator for the global Treasury team. Develop deep expertise of Treasury’s controllable costs. Analyze the budget results and provide business insights to the global Treasury team. Serve as the liaison between Treasury and Accounting for the budget process. Prepare monthly budget reporting and analysis
Supports Inventory 180 Treasury process owner in managing the dealer financing program in collaboration with dealers and insurers.
Manages the country exposure reporting process. Prepare country exposure reports for management on a quarterly basis
Leads continuous improvement projects for the Treasury Services Tower to simplify and standardize the processes under management. Implement best in class reporting processes through standardization, automation and a streamlined reporting structure
What you will need:
Education/Experience: college or university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other business-related fields; 8+ years of job-related experience in Treasury / Finance
Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience
Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers
Team Management: Knowledge of effective team building techniques; ability to form and manage effective teams
Treasury Management: Knowledge of the principles and methods of managing treasury; ability to use tools, techniques and processes to maximize the value of an organization's financial assets and revenue while minimizing risk
Financial Markets: Knowledge of the products, types, competitors, customer base, major issues and regulatory considerations in the financial markets; ability to apply financial market knowledge to various business environments
Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
Top Candidate Will Also Have:
Knowledge of Treasury policies and procedures
Experience in finance transformation
Strong analytical and communication skills as well as personal computer expertise
Demonstrate initiative, leadership, judgment, and decision-making skills
Good human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department
Additional Details:
Domestic relocation is available for those who qualify

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $217,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
