Immediate Office of the Chief of Naval Operations FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Pentagon, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST within IMMEDIATE OFC OF CHIEF OF NVL OPS. Responsibilities You will serve as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization . You will direct and/or perform continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operation and support programs within an organization. You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas. You will provide interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate: 1. Evaluating and assisting in development of aircraft carrier, surface ship, and submarine programming issues to implement into the programming phase of the Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process. 2. Working with resource sponsors in planning for defendable and executable aviation warfare plans and programs. 3. Understanding of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) phase of PPBE and how the process flows within the system. 4. Applying knowledge of the database of record (PBISdb) and how to develop and evaluate issues within the system. 5. Preparing senior leadership briefing materials with proficiency to the most senior leadership levels (GO/SES level echelon I).
