DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this role you will research, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate employee training courses and related instructional materials for Commonwealth employees within the enterprise leadership and management development programs and curricula as part of a team of curriculum and program developers and facilitators. You will be responsible for conducting needs assessments, facilitating focus groups, analyzing data, and reviewing existing practices to identify learning needs and corresponding learning content as well as the most effective mode(s) of delivery. You will have the opportunity to research, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate new training or training revisions for virtual, in-person, or self-paced instruction. All work will be completed in accordance with ‘best practices’ for instructional design principles; adult learning theory; Diversity, Equity, Belonging, and Inclusion (DEBI), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG); and, with bureau policies and procedures in alignment with other BTPD divisions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Note: Occasional travel and overtime may be required.
Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 3 days a week and will be required to report to the office 2 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year as a Human Resource Analyst 2 in the area of the parenthetical;or
One year as a Field Human Resource Officer 1, and one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical;or
Two years of experience in the performance of professional human resource work, including one year of professional experience in the area of the parenthetical; and a bachelor's degree;or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
