DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A Food Service Worker 1 works with dietary management to produce and serve patient meals. You will follow food safety guidelines, read and interpret tray tickets, and comply with dietary instructions. In addition, you will assist with preparing and cooking ingredients, portioning food, and delivering trays. You will be trained to operate dish washing machines and floor scrubbers so that you can perform proper cleaning tasks that maintain our high sanitation standards.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment

  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating days off and a 30-minute lunch. You will be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned, with one scheduled weekend off per month.

  • Your work schedule may change based on operational needs. You will be required to work the 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM shift as needed.

  • Overtime and travel as needed.

  • Free parking!

    Legal Requirements:

  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
