DESCRIPTION OF WORK
A Custodial Worker 1 works in a controlled setting to clean and sanitize examination rooms, offices, patients' rooms, laboratories, and public areas. You will perform common housekeeping duties, including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, cleaning windows, and dusting furniture. Additionally, you will deep clean and refinish floors, stock and distribute linens, and properly dispose of waste. You will maintain a safe work environment using PPE, follow equipment operation and chemical handling policies, and complete daily documentation of duties.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
This is a temporary full-time position. You will work 37.5 hours per week for 6 to 11 months.
Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch. You will work every 4th weekend with days off during the week. Schedule may change based on operational needs.
Overtime and travel as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
