Job Summary:OPEX Corporation is currently seeking a full-time CNC Operator Trainee to work on our 2nd shift (M-F, 2:00pm-10:15pm) in our manufacturing facility in Pennsauken, NJ. This individual will be in a two-year training program learning to assist with the setup and operation of manual and CNC lathes/milling machines. The ideal candidate would have an interest in learning a trade and basic knowledge of CNC machining. CNC Trainee Job Responsibilities:•Assist with the setup and operation of manual and CNC lathes and milling machines.•Will work with a mentor(s) to learn how to perform the following duties:oOperate a variety of CNC machines in a cell structure oProperly load material into a machineoRead blueprints and use precision measuring toolsoSetup and adjust jobs/fixturesoReview blueprints, drawings, instructions to ensure accurate productionoInspect parts using micrometer, gages and related inspection tools•Other duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:•Commitment to learn a trade and advance your career•Ability to follow verbal and written instruction•Knowledge of CNC machining is desired, but not required•Willingness to learn and ability to take direction•Must be able to work individually and as apart of a team•Must be dependable and reliableWork Hours and Benefits:This position is full-time and works approximately 40 hours per week with occasional overtime (Mon.-Fri. - 2:00pm-10:15pm)Benefits include, but are not limited to:•Full medical, dental and vision with low employee contribution rates•9 Paid holidays and 15 PTO days accrued annually•401k with matching and profit sharing•Basic life insurance, short term and long-term disability•On-site fitness facility•Tuition reimbursement available•Climate controlled manufacturing facility OPEX Corporation is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, and protected veteran status.
