Finger Lakes Power Systems is seeking an experienced and reliable Technician with a diverse employment background in the construction trades to join our team. We are a year-round operation that offers full-time. employment (4 10-hour days Monday Thursday) with occasional voluntary Fridays, and without the seasonal slowdowns and layoffs that typically occur with many traditional construction jobs. Requirements: A valid driver license with experience safely hauling enclosed and open trailers, heavy equipment, etc.; Comfortable with heights/elevation, i.e., able to work on rooftops; Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, trenchers, forklifts and/or other lift equipment; Experience with electrical work and codes is a plus; Proven record of reliability/dependability/timeliness; Ability to work independently or as part of a team; Safety-minded approach to completing assignments; Team mentality, willingness to collaborate with others to complete projects to spec and by deadline.
