In-Room Dining Supervisor

Your Journey    

  • Train new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist management with scheduling, labor controls, and other administrative duties

  • Ensure that all in-room dining orders are prepared and delivered promptly and according to guest specifications.

  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms hallways to ensure that in-room dining trays and dishes are collected promptly

  • Inspect daily set-up, presentations and delivery amenities

  • Maintain high standards of service and attention to detail

  • Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments

  • Maintain a clean working environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties based on business needs

  • Take Restaurant Reservation Requests

  • Keep OpenTable up to date and book reservations strategically

  • Work closely with the concierge on reservations

    About You   

  • You enjoy supervising and working as part of a team  

  • You are passionate about providing exceptional guest service and creating memorable moments

  • You have basic communication skills 

  • You are open to learning, developing, and growing both yourself, personally, and helping others do the same

  • You are trustworthy and have integrity 

    Must Haves    

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays 

  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment 

  • One year minimum of experience in Food and beverage operations within a hotel or resort environment

  • C omputer skills

  • Luxury hotel experience, a plus

    Physical Requirements   .   

  • Grasping, holding, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending over

  • Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift

  • Ability to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi -regular basis
