The Supply Chain Planner-Senior will support the Regional Supply Chain Planning team for APAC region business. The Supply Chain Planning team is responsible for securing materials needed for Zebra’s operations. Supply requirements are moderated by the team to ensure that inventory positions are appropriate to meet the demand requirements relative to forecasted levels, inventory on order and in transit from distribution centers, product life cycle, quality, and special customer requirements and /or projects. The team cooperates with Global Supply Planners, Customer Experience Management team, Logistics, Distribution Centre, Finance, Quality, Repairs, Product Management and Sales team.
The Senior position is expected to participate in continuous improvement activities of inventory management processes and project management work. Inherently, the Senior Planner is expected to be a role model and guide the team towards the direction shared by Planning leads.
Responsibilities:
Familiar with DMAIC methodology and adopting the right place, right time, right quantity mindset.
Support and actively participate in deployment of supply chain model within region
Plan and develop supply schedule to maintain optimal inventory positions to support inventory requirements of internal or external customers
Regularly review and adjust Supply plan with internal stakeholders
Applies Zebra’s procedures to resolve issues and mitigate constraints impacting supply plan including capacity, transportation, and order-management gaps
Monitor open purchase orders to ensure on time deliveries; partner with order management to resolve any admin/order gaps
Escalate shortages within the broader supply chain organization and work to support resolution
Develop and maintain strong working relationships and communications with key cross functional stakeholders to confirm production/shipping schedules
Participate in cross-functional projects as a representative of the supply chain function
Report KPIs to regularly evaluate the health of inventory and report to management;

On time shipment
Cost to Service / Freight costs optimization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Business, Supply Chain, Finance and related field experience preferred
5-8 years experience
International Supply Chain experience in service and/or manufacturing a plus
