PURPOSE OF POSITION

The Sales Operations Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a team of Inside Sales Representatives and Estimators, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering unparalleled customer service. As a servant leader, the Team Lead’s primary goal is to empower team members, fostering an environment of trust, collaboration, and support. By actively removing obstacles and facilitating resources, the leader ensures the team is well-positioned to meet its objectives and drive customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

More specifically, the employee owner will:

  • Manage and mentor Inside Sales Representatives and Estimators, cultivating a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

  • Oversee the department’s workload, ensuring adequate staffing and proper delegation of responsibilities.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities.

  • Formulate and implement strategies to enhance team performance and meet business objectives.

  • Assist the team in resolving challenges and overcoming obstacles.

  • Develop and deliver sales training programs aimed at upselling and expanding the market share.

  • Act as a key stakeholder in the CRM design process, actively engaging in its implementation and ensuring its effective use across the team.

  • Leverage data from CRM and other systems to effectively measure, track, and monitor progress toward our goals. Utilize this data to generate actionable insights and make informed decisions that drive continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive fulfillment of customer needs.

  • Review and refine procedures and processes to drive continuous improvement.

  • Participate in ongoing training relevant to the role.

  • Undertake additional assignments and related tasks as required.

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau, including creating dashboards and interpreting data for business decision-making.

EDUCATION – EXPERIENCE – COMPUTER SKILLS

  • Ideal candidate would have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four-year college or;

  • 3-5 years related experiences and/or training; or

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience

TRAINING – CERTIFICATIONS – LICENSES

  • PPI Product 101

  • Salesforce Training and/or Certification

  • Leadership Development Training

  • Employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.

  • Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs are required in production areas and where posted.
