Naval Facilities Engineering Command TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (FLEET MANAGEMENT) in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii

Summary You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT (FLEET MANAGEMENT) in the Transportation Division of NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND HAWAII. A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Responsibilities You will have knowledge of automated transportation systems; Fleet Manager and Fuel automated data systems (FADS). You will have working knowledge of how information originates and how the system can provide data necessary in reconciling customer billing errors. You will have the ability to compile, review and provide transportation information such as mileage, labor hours, vehicle/equipment rental costs, inventory records, maintenance schedules, etc. You will have knowledge and understanding of automated systems adequate to provide subject matter assistance in the development of automated transportation procedures for clerical operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-04) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing transportation assistant tasks in the provision of technical support required for managing vehicle/equipment fleet for the organization; 2) Monitoring funds obligations and recurring reports on vehicle/equipment usage and costs; and 3) Utilizing a variety of computer-generated reports to collect and organize data related to vehicle usage and operational expenses.
