System One Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing in Peapack, New Jersey

Quality Control Inspector - Manufacturing

Salary: $75,000

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret GD & T drawing specifications.

  • Use precision measurement and test equipment to make accurate measurements.

  • Respond quickly to production and engineering requests for inspection.

  • Efficient communicator who is comfortable working with email and ERP systems for documentation of inspections

  • Experiences in welding Inspection NDT, AWS/ASME codes is a must.

  • Be able to inspect raw materials per applicable ASME or ASTM material specifications.

  • Perform electric control panel inspections for proper operations.

  • Experience with welding inspection/CWI certification a MUST

  • Certified or experience in ISO 9001: 2015 auditing a plus

  • Experience with manual precision measurement equipment t as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 plus years of QA/QC experience in a capital equipment manufacturing environment

  • Post college technical degree with a four-year engineering degree preferred.

  • Experience with job shop manufacturing and/or large complex capital equipment projects.

  • Hands on manufacturing experience, particularly in welding or machine shop
