As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and high-quality healthcare services to patients and residents in various healthcare settings. CNAs work under the supervision of licensed nurses, assisting with daily living activities, ensuring patients' comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Duties of this positon include:

  • Participates in appropriate staff meetings, as required, as well as professional growth opportunities.

  • Respects basic human rights, dignity and confidentiality of persons served as well as property belonging to others.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compassion and Empathy: Display genuine care and empathy towards patients, making their well-being a top priority.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Physical Endurance: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and assisting patients with mobility.

Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing situations and work in different healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.

Ethics and Professionalism: Uphold ethical standards and maintain a professional demeanor while respecting patient confidentiality.

Multitasking: Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize patient care responsibilities.

Licensure/Certification:

Possess a valid state-issued Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certificate, demonstrating successful completion of an approved CNA training program.

Possession of a valid CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification is required.
