Robert Half Sales Support Specialist in Peachtree City, Georgia

Description We are in search of a dedicated Credit Clerk to join our team in Peachtree City, Georgia. This role is instrumental in our Sales Support operations and provides a contract to hire employment opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining credit records, and ensuring prompt resolution of credit-related inquiries. This role demands a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications

• Maintenance of precise customer credit records

• Monitoring of customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments

• Establishment and maintenance of good customer relations, ensuring world-class service

• Regular contact with customers to follow up on sales opportunities, promote products, and provide quote responses

• Review and maintenance of long-term contract agreements

• Provision of technical information to customers and gathering of competitive intelligence

• Maintenance of specific customer database information

• Use of applicable sales tools and reports to achieve sales targets

• Coordination with other departments within the organization to achieve sales targets

• Participation in training sessions, including new hire training

• Maintenance of customer profiles and assistance with collections as needed

• Understanding and pursuit of both Purchasing and Development contracts

• Assistance in contract writing and input. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Sales Support role or similar position

• Demonstrated skills in Customer Service, including handling customer queries and resolving issues

• Proficient in using sales and customer relationship management software

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Knowledge of sales principles and practices will be advantageous.
