Cintel is looking for a Agile Coach/Scrum Master to join our team.

Position Summary:

  • Identification, implementation, and coaching of modern Product/Project management approaches for complex software-intensive projects.

  • Work with teams at both the Portfolio level and solution level to assist in developing strategic themes, creating portfolio visions, and prioritizing the portfolio backlog.

  • Developing overall product roadmaps. These roadmaps shall identify the delivery of minimum viable products (MVPs) and minimum viable capability releases (MVCRs). Additionally, these product roadmaps shall include timing and the required functionality needed by external, independent programs.

  • Assist in developing Epic Statements, along with lean budgets and lean schedules for the Epics.

  • Provide training and coaching in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) techniques. These LPM techniques shall help determine how much and which value streams to fund, develop lean business cases, agile forecasting, and estimating, and establish objective measures and milestones leading to the delivery of working solutions to fleet end-users.

  • Provide training as well as day-to-day support to cultivate and improve all team members to become productive Agile Practitioners.

  • Guide scrum-team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team

  • Organize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile related events

  • Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and management

  • Assist the scrum team in developing and estimating user stories that are clearly articulated with well-defined acceptance criteria

  • Update agile tracking systems to provide transparency on product and sprint backlogs

  • Assist with internal and external communication

  • Assist product owners with backlog grooming

  • Assist team with making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition

  • Determine and remove impediments that interfere with the ability of the teams to deliver assigned goals

  • Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution

  • Promote continuous improvement and help teams to increase velocity

  • Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters experimentation, creativity and innovation

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, and work experience

  • Experience leading Agile Scrum teams in a cloud environment

  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps and /or software/application development processes

  • Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques

  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically JIRA and Confluence

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

    Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working within the DoD or IC Community

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification

  • Scaled Agile Framework for the enterprise ( SAFe) Agilist Certification
