Naval Air Systems Command PROGRAM MANAGER in Patuxent River, Maryland
Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the SYSCOM SECUIRTY COOPERATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR SYSTEM COMMAND HQ-OSF. Responsibilities You will analyze needs and synthesize requirements information to develop requirements for program initiatives and planning. You will serve as a key participant in the development of an acquisition strategy that serves as the framework for integrating functional activities. You will direct the development of comprehensive program plans to ensure fulfillment of requirements, fiscal adequacy and planned progress. You will identify and defend resource requirements (funding, manpower, facilities, etc.) for life-cycle management of the assigned program. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band (NH-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1) Clearly communicating with International partners via written and oral communications for the purpose of establishing requirements and executing programs; 2) Demonstrating understanding of Foreign Military Sales programs to include disclosure, case development and case execution; 3) Familiarity with the defense acquisition and program execution to include development of Statements of Work and the contractual procurement process.
