Responsibilities You will collaborate with program/department managers and other management officials for the development of program guidance and requirements for development, test and evaluation, procurement and in-service operations of supported aircraft programs. You will translate program guidance into policy direction and assistance to the program office staff and Integrated Program Team leaders and members. You will collaborate with program managers to formulate short-term and long-range program plans. You will ensure that program milestones established provide adequate time and resources for implementation by contractors, field activities and participating government agencies. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition;2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command. Education Additional Information This NAWCAD position is located within Program Executive Office PEO (U&W), Unmanned Air Systems, in support of PMA-262 Program Office. As a PMA-262 Deputy Operations Analyst, duties are as follows: Provide Operations Analyst support for the Program Office; Receive, Track, Route, and Respond to all internal/external taskers/drills for the Program Office; As directed, develop, review and route/track to completion all required program documentation. Documentation to include, but not limited to: Acquisition Documentation, Program Briefs, CPAR Responses, Technical Releases, Program Reports, Program/Individual Awards, Official Correspondence, and other documentation as required; Ensure Program Office Policy and Process adherence for the Program Office; Create/Evaluate/Improve/Implement Program Office Policies and Procedures. Ensure proper implementation in support of Program Office day-to-day operations; Provide opportunities for Workforce Development and manage program facilities for the Program Office; Identify/Organize training topics for the program office that are relevant to the daily responsibilities of program office personnel; Maintain program office facility management to include maintaining IBONs, creation/maintenance of Program Office Organization Charts, and coordination with Base facilities on work space maintenance/upkeep; other duties as assigned. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.
