Vertex Aerospace Material Control Manager - Presidential Helicopters Program - NAS Patuxent River, MD - CONTINGENT UPON AWARD! in Patuxent River, Maryland

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD!!!

Description:

  • Provides daily oversight of all functional and operational activities in Supply, Warehouse, Tool Room and Material Control.

  • Establishes delivery/pickup points for material ordered.

  • Acts as a liaison with the supporting Aviation Supply Department on maintenance material matters to meet program material requirements.

  • Prepares documents for operational support material requirements such as aviation fuel, lube oil, flight clothing, and material carried in service market outlets.

  • Furnish information to the Supply activity on the identity and quantity of material.

  • Ensures surveys are prepared in the event of loss, damage, or destruction of accountable material.

  • Maintains adequate accountability of material and equipment in custody.

  • Requires extensive technical knowledge of supply system, budgets, aircraft, facilities and equipment.

  • Requires extensive knowledge of NAVAIRINST 3710.1 and COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience with five (5) years management experience in direct aircraft maintenance repair, inspection, and modification.
