Illuminate USA LLC Equipment Maintenance Technician in Pataskala, Ohio

Job Summary: 

We are currently hiring an Equipment Maintenance Technician for our new factory in the Columbus, Ohio area. This role maintains production equipment using hoists, pallet jack, hand / power tools to move, assemble, install, or dismantle machinery. Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Analyzes plans for new equipment and maps out space for unpacking and assembly. Troubleshooting problems and repair or replace worn or broken parts as necessary. May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy or unwieldy machinery. Will perform fabrication or calibration as needed. Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations. 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance on sophisticated electrical / mechanical production equipment and systems to ensure optimal functionality. 
  • Adhere to established protocols to evaluate equipment for performance, safety, and productivity. 
  • Carry out detailed equipment failure analyses, leading both preventive and unscheduled maintenance tasks. 
  • Expertly troubleshoot and diagnose underlying equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime. 
  • Document all equipment modifications, maintenance procedures, and pertinent details in the specified tracking system. 
  • Prioritize and strictly adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. 
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Equipment Supervisor / Lead / Engineer. 

     

Qualifications: 

  • Engineering / Robotics / Electronics Career Technology Diploma

``` - Engineering / Robotics / Electronics Associates of Science  - Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience based on theoretical education  - Strong technical / mechanical acumen and problem-solving skills  - Complex mechanical assembly experience  - Ability to work under pressure, coordination ability, planning, and execution ability  - Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and reliably within a team  - Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) familiarity  - Microsoft Office familiarity
