POSITION DESCRIPTIONJob title: Production Supervisor ( Night Shift 12:30pm - 9pm ) Location: Onsite (Passaic) Job type: Full Time- Hourly ($22-$26 hourly DOE)SUMMARYThe Production Supervisor reports to the Director of operations. The Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing processes remain smooth and efficient by organizing workflows while managing and monitoring their team. This person directs, trains, and assists their production team members to ensure that tasks are completed correctly, efficiently, and to the quality standards required by the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSets daily/weekly objectives and goals with production leadership team and then communicates accordingly to their production teamProperly organizes and directs production team on tasks to achieve proper workflow and outputsAssigns, manages, coaches a talented and diverse production team for all production tasksManages all employee related matters including attendance, breaks, cleaning responsibilities, and other shift related or employee related tasks for employees on assigned shiftEnsures tasks are completed timely, accurately, efficiently, and to the correct quality standardsCommunicates effectively with team members on assigned shift, other supervisors on other shifts or in other departments, other managers, and the leadership team across all company platforms including oral, written, and digital systemsCompletes and maintains appropriate records, documents, and reports Takes safety seriously by being a team member of the safety committee, enforces strict safety policies, and company standardsCompletes training with current and new team members as directed by leadership and in alignment with quality and compliance programsOversees safe use of equipment and conducts scheduled maintenance of equipmentRecommend and implement measures to improve productivity, performance, product quality, methods, working conditions, and efficienciesWorks in compliance with federal and state labor and OSHA regulations labor Respect and maintain confidentiality of the office, its records and restricted informationSKILLSProven experience as Production Supervisor or similar roleExperience using Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer software programsExcellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workStrong organizational and planning skillsProven ability to problem solve and critical decision making skillsWilling and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and complete work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive liftingCannabis knowledge or experience a plusEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School diploma or GED and five years or more of related work experienceValid Driver’s license and clean driving record
