VISTA Technology Services, Inc. GFE/GFI Configuration Management Analyst in Pascagoula, Mississippi
VISTA Technology Services, Inc. (VISTA) is currently seeking a GFE/GFI Configuration Management Analyst to support a U.S. Navy Shipbuilding Program in Pascagoula, MS. This position is contingent upon contract award.Responsibilities:Provide configuration management support to procurement and delivery of GFE systems and applicable GFI.Track current and historical GFE/GFI data and deliverables.Provide analysis of shipyard progress data and metrics, and other relevant sources of information to advise clients on current and developing issues.Use tools such as Integrated Master Schedule, Cost Performance Reports, and Ship Production Analysis data.Assess data and metrics to identify and remove production chokepoints, resource allocation restrictions, or other issues impacting vessel delivery.Track and monitor hardware, services, or system completion progress through delivery and Government acceptance.Conduct financial and schedule trend analysis, including data entry, file maintenance, and data retrieval and reporting functions.Participate in baseline and performance reviews and various meetings that pertain to GFE/GFI and prepare subsequent minutes and action items.Provide assistance in the development, execution and continuous improvement of GFE policies, plans and processes.Support production schedules, to include tracking and delivery of GFE/GFI.Participate in discussions with the shipyards regarding delivery schedules, work-around plans, in yard need dates, installation material to be furnished by the Government.Maintain visibility of the shipyard construction schedules and production progress to ensure GFE deliveries are responsive to the shipyard need dates.Support the forecasting of upcoming and recurring GFE related events.Support the Government GFE team in the execution of planned and emergent tasks (providing assistance in drafting, coordinating, and tracking status of briefing packages, action items, and external data requests, develop and maintain appropriate trackers).Track GFE/GFI delivery delays and provide risk updates and monitor through resolution and delivery.Track GFE/GFI projects that extend beyond the ship delivery and are installed after ship delivery.Draft briefings, reports, and spreadsheets in support of GFE/GFI activities.Qualifications:High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred4+ years of experience tracking shipboard GFE/GFIExperience supporting GFE/GFI compliance for ship construction and modification effortsExperience with Amphibious warships preferredActive DoD Secret Clearance requiredThis position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.For this position, VISTA will consider only applicants with an active DoD security clearance.VISTA offers a strong compensation package and a competitive leave package.
