Robert Half IT Manager with ERP Experience in Pasadena, Texas
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the heart of Pasadena, Texas for an IT Manager. In the telecom industry, the IT Manager will oversee the maintenance and analysis of IT infrastructure and systems performance, manage project execution, and ensure compliance with global technology and security policies. This role also involves engaging across functional areas to identify how technology can enhance outcomes and preparing a technology roadmap that aligns with business priorities.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and analyze IT infrastructure and systems performance to assess operating costs, productivity levels, upgrade requirements, and other metrics and needs.
• Oversee Helpdesk support, managing hardware, cellular, and office phones.
• Manage and enhance corporate systems such as Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesPad, SPS EDI, Koerber WMS, Redzone, and SalesForce.
• Develop and/or update plans for information technology projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
• Ensure compliance with global technology, security, and cyber-risk policies & procedures.
• Engage across functional areas to identify how technology & digitalization can enhance functional unit outcomes and prepare the technology roadmap that aligns with business priorities.
• Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of IT projects.
• Implement robust vendor management processes to ensure technology vendors & consultant partners deliver on metrics set forth.
• Coordinate resource procurement activities and prioritize short- and long-term objectives while maintaining existing programs. Requirements
• Proven experience in IT management or relevant position
• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies and Cloud Technologies
• Knowledge and understanding of EO/IR systems
• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Ability to manage Active Directory
• Experience with Backup Technologies
• Understanding of Computer Hardware and Configuration Management
• Ability to handle and manage Contracts
• Knowledge and experience with Database systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks
• Relevant certification in IT or related field is advantageous
