EHS Leader OneSource EHS LLC has partnered with a global leader in specialty materials production for consumer applications to find an EHS Leader for their Pasadena, Texas facility. The ideal candidate will collaborate with manufacturing experts, and reliability subject matter experts to ensure compliance and promote stewardship with EHS requirements in daily operations, evaluating field procedures according to the Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Environmental plan. * Duties and Essential Job Functions:* * Develop, communicate, and implement a proactive approach to managing resources and operations in a way that prioritizes Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS). * Complete field assessments, develop and administer feedback measures, and compile and review results with Team members to ensure emerging issues are identified, corrected and communicated. * Auditing of life critical permits, Concept of Operations (ConOps) and tracking of unit behavior observation data. * Track/monitor established Environmental and Safety compliance parameters and quickly escalates if any deviation or violations may have occurred. * Conduct hazard recognition, root cause analysis, and near miss evaluations communicating activities with leadership. * Assist with the training of team members in the stewardship program, initiatives, industry best practices, and secondary policies. * Qualifications:* * Bachelor’s degree in EHS or closely related field from an accredited university or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Chemical processing field with 3 years’ experience in safety management
