The Global Marketing Operations Associate Director leads the marketing operations function and is responsible for marketing related reporting, analytics, alliances, and all technical aspects related to marketing; process, building refinement; planning; marketing technology selection, implementation, governance, and roadmap development; marketing data management; best practices syndication; and marketing skills development. This role will have direct reports focusing on analytics, insights and data, marketing tech and operations, and alliances & GLP-This leader guides strategy on all things reporting, performance, and marketing tech including ad promo as well as research and CI.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build and manage unique team focused on Operations, Analytics, Insights and Research

  • Work with Marketing Operations team and vendors to construct key marketing reporting mechanisms, including dashboards and reports

  • Marketing technology infrastructure ownership, including collaboration with IT, and other functions as needed: Project management, implementation, governance and roadmap development for Marketing Automation Platforms

  • Understands scenario-based forecasting methodologies and other advanced forecasting methodologies to work with analyst to provide clarity on demand and financial forecasting.

  • Business Performance: work with team and analyst to develop a comprehensive business analytics framework to track key performance indicators (KPIs) across channel and geography.

  • Work with senior staff and department leaders to develop and maintain a strategic perspective based on marketplace and customer base

  • Ability to guide marketing ops team member regarding marketing and marketing process

  • Evaluate and manage the marketing technology necessary (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Pitcher, webinar platform, Veeva Vault PromoMats and more)

  • Continuously assess and evaluate current metrics of the marketing technology and the processes to reinforce best practices or introduce efficiencies.

  • Act as internal consultant to focus attention on solutions to help drive company priorities.

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, teamwork, analytical, written/verbal communication, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to interpret and synthesize data to make firm actionable strategic recommendations, business decisions and “tell the story” that the data represents

  • Ability to communicate complex data and insights derived from research and translate into simple conclusions and insights

  • Insights generation and ability to connect insights to implications for strategy

  • Quantitative, data-driven mindset

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing that includes experience in an operations or performance marketing role

  • 3+ years experience in a management role

  • Experience in med device or pharmaceutical needed.

  • Experience developing and managing budgets.

  • Experience in process creation, delivery and monitoring, particularly in the area of service level agreements.

  • Experience in conducting primary and secondary market research.

  • Experience in analytic and quantitative modeling .

  • Hands on knowledge of Marketing Automation/CRM Processes/Database Management (Marketing Cloud)

  • Working knowledge of Analytics and Dashboards (SFDC, CRMA, PowerBI and Adobe Analytics)

  • Expert in marketing automation, CRM and workflow technologies

  • Industry experience in OTC, CPG, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals.

  • Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Competency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Requirements:

  • MBA preferred

  • Therapeutic experience within diabetes preferred

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively
