For our Headquarters in Parma, we are now looking for talented students / new graduates to join our Central Supply Chain.

As a key player in the team, the intern will be provided with a real-world experience, and he / she will have the opportunity to build expertise and be exposed to several competences within the Purchasing team.

Brief Description Learn from some of the best! The purpose of the internship is to introduce you to Barilla by working alongside talented professionals to contribute to a challenging, exciting, and rewarding project into the Purchasing area: you will take part in the development and implementation of the Vendor Portal, a platform aimed at digitalising and improving Barilla’s relationship with Suppliers.

More specifically, supported by a mentor, you will:

  • Collaborate with and guide suppliers in using the platform and verify the completeness of information entered into the platform;

  • Invite suppliers to use the platform and monitor their onboarding on the tool;

  • Be a reference point for, interact with, and train the buyers in using correctly the platform;

  • Develop reporting KPIs and monitor the progress of the project;

  • Coordinate the updates with the other business functions;

  • Analyse the problems happened to suppliers and buyers and suggest solutions.

    Who we are looking for • 2nd year students of Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics & Management, Agronomy, Food Science & Technology (and other similar studies) interested in a curricular internship to write their thesis or new graduates interested in an extracurricular internship • Excellent academic background • Study or work experience abroad (nice to have) • Fluent English and Italian
