POSITION SUMMARY:
Provide direct services to consumers, support co-workers and Director in daily duties. Manage and maintain
data, assistive technology, devices, office equipment, workstations, and the information technology
infrastructure (server, network, etc.). All services provided within Yuma and La Paz Counties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provide direct services to consumers; life skills training, advocacy, peer support, information and
referral.
? Manage and maintain consumer case files and consumer database; quarterly reviews approve closures,
input consumer data into database, etc.
? Manage and maintain assistive technology and devices; troubleshooting, repair, purchase with director
approval.
? Information Technology; manage and maintain all workstations, office equipment, internal building
maintenance, equipment purchase and maintenance of inventory, networks, server, website(s), etc.
? Provide assistive technology demonstrations and trainings as per funded contracts and reports.
? OTHER DUTIES: All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have the ability to read and interpret
documents (safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.), have good oral and
written communication skills, ability to use and understand the many functions of mathematics, practical
reasoning and problem solving skills, have knowledge and understanding of servers, networks and computers,
work with little or no supervision, and have a flexible working schedule (may include evenings and weekends).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent with two to three years work experience in related field to
position and an A+ and Networking + Certification or Associates Degree in Computer Science/Information
Systems (A.A.) from a two-year college or technical school with one year related work experience.
Preferred: Bachelors Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science/Information Systems from a four-year college or
university and six months work experience.
Candidates may possess a combination of education and experience if the experience provides the knowledge,
skills and abilities required to successfully perform the duties of the position.
COMPUTER/TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:
Individual must have the knowledge, skills and ability to navigate proficiently in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft
software applications, networks, servers, internet, e-mail, database software, inventory, contact management,
and various forms of assistive technology and devices (i.e. Jaws, Dragon, Zoomtext, etc.)
