We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Solutions Engineer with a focus on Machine Vision and/or Fixed Industrial Scanning technologies to join our dynamic team.

You will take the technical lead in the pre-sales process and works with sales account managers to sell Machine Vision systems and/or Fixed Industrial Scanners for assigned partners, end-user account(s) and territory. This role you will need to be based in France.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and offering solutions tailored to our customers' unique requirements. Responsibilities:

  • Working with Account or Channel Management, owns development and execution of technology strategy.

  • Designs solutions that meet customer needs and beat competition.

  • Develops strong relationships with sales team, internal engineering, and key technical customer contacts and leverages to Zebra's advantage; creates and delivers high impact solution presentations.

  • Serve as a technical expert on our machine vision product portfolio, providing detailed information to customers and channel partners.

  • Lead product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our machine vision technologies.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop technical proposals, specifications, and quotations for machine vision solutions.

  • Address customer inquiries related to product specifications, integration, and performance.

  • Provide training sessions to customers and channel partners on the installation, operation, and maintenance of machine vision products.

  • Assist in developing training materials to enhance product knowledge among the sales team and partners.

  • Communicate customer feedback and requirements to contribute to the improvement and development of machine vision products.

  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, events, and seminars, providing technical insights to potential customers.

  • Network with industry professionals to stay informed about technological advancements and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years’ experience with Machine Vision or Fixed Industrial Scanning -related products.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer specialized in Machine Vision and/or Fixed industrial Scanning products.

  • Proficient knowledge of French and English languages.

  • Strong understanding of machine vision principles, algorithms, and applications.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Experience in preparing technical proposals and conducting product demonstrations.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Experience from automotive, T&L or Retail industry is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of other European languages (Spanish, Italian) is an advantage.

  • Ability to travel within and outside of the country (travel expectations 40%)
