We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to perform routine medical laboratory tests for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. You will be responsible for operation of the laboratory. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

· Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology.

· Report test results following clinic protocols alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results.

· Ensure quality control in collecting specimens, ensure appropriate sampling and maintain accurate record keeping.

· Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies. Set up, maintain, calibrate, clean, and test sterility of medical laboratory equipment.

Job Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Associate’s Degree or higher is preferred

· Medical laboratory experience preferred

· MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification required

· State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License Required

· US Authorization to work is a requirement.
