Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Associate Project Management (1) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA .
The candidate must have inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills as they work with Center Fuselage IPTs and the following functions: Manufacturing, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Global Mission Excellence, Industrial Engineering and Global Supply Chain.
Essential Functions:
Project Management is to provide project leadership, analysis, and execution support for the development of innovative systems. Project Management helps ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product needs or actions into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
The qualified candidate will support the Palmdale F35 Integrated Product Team (IPT) activities including but not limited to:
Meeting facilitation, action item tracking & metrics
Office locations/relocations/Archi bus
Provide processes and tools to facilitate continuous performance improvement
Support and lead where appropriate, events, visits and tours to foster growth in our current business
Facilities/Infrastructure administrative tasks
Program on-boarding
Program systems and tools access
Special Assignments

Basic Qualifications:
Be completing or has completed a Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience OR minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of project management, project coordination, data analytics, or logistics experience.
Basic understanding of standard project management principles and practices
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work 1st shift (6 am - 3:30 pm) on a 9/80 work schedule
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD secret clearance if and when applicable
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Aerospace Industry experience
Salary Range: $61,200 - $91,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
