CTG's premier client has a contract assignment for a Multi-Disciplined Technician II.
Type: Contract
Job Title: Multi-Disciplined Technician II
Location: Painted Post, NY
Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Painted Post, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: AAS - Chemistry, Optics, Chemical Engineering with 3+ Years experience desired
A successful candidate in this position will possess strong soft skills as well as
- Must have lab skills
Description
Stress profile metrology of ion strengthened glasses and glass-ceramics using commercialized and non-commercialized measurement platforms.
Material management (e.g. delivery, pick-up, etc.) of samples submitted for analysis to labs and assisting scientists with execution of related experiments.
40-50% working in lab.
30% getting samples to labs in SP.
20-30% other administrative tasks.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess an intermediate level technical understanding with rigorous implementation of standard procedures.
Strong attention to detail will be very helpful as well as the ability to work independently and prioritize work activities.
Required Qualifications
Education
- AAS - Chemistry, Optics, Chemical Engineering with 3+ Years experience desired
