Ranpak Quality Engineer - Paper and Packaging in Painesville, Ohio
Description
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of paper-based products and packaging solutions.
Conduct material testing and analysis to ensure product quality and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and marketing to bring new products to market.
Support the optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Participate in research and development projects to explore new materials and technologies.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Paper Science and Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with paper manufacturing processes and equipment.
Knowledge of sustainability practices in the paper industry.
Familiarity with quality control and testing methodologies.
