Job Description

Essential Duties

  • Communicate with principal investigators regarding timelines, feedback, and progress monitoring

  • Assist principal investigators with various aspects of grant proposal planning, preparation, and submission of external grant proposals.

  • Navigate a wide variety of proposal submission systems

  • Develop and/or review budgets; approve budgets; and enter into required forms

  • Ensure proposal compliance with sponsor, university, and other relevant guidance

  • Initiate and review Cayuse records for internal routing and approval

  • Gather institutional data and other information needed for proposals

  • Complete and/or review forms required for proposal submission

  • Serve as final approver for proposal submission using checklists to ensure compliance

  • Participate in the coordination, development and delivery of educational workshops and other events

  • Other duties as assigned

     

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree 

     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year research administration

     

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
