Granville Medical Center Patient Coordinator - GSA in Oxford, North Carolina
POSITION SUMMARY:

In this role, you will schedule patients according to established office procedures, promptly answer telephone calls, and collect essential patient information such as name, address, referring physician, reason for visit, and authorization number. Responsibilities also include updating existing patient information, making reminder calls prior to appointments, and addressing mail. You will prepare and distribute the schedule for the next day’s services, greet patients and visitors, assess their needs, and provide directions as necessary. Additionally, you will handle non-medical patient inquiries within practice guidelines, assist new patients with completing information sheets, and prepare encounter forms for use during patient visits.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years office management experience. Medical Office experience preferred. Previous Accounts Receivable and Collection experience required. Possess strong written and organizational skills with attention to detail. Must be able to multi-task and work well under pressure. Must possess problem solving skills as well as using good communication. Computer skills with experience in word processing, and excel required. Oversees daily flow of office and maintains facility compliance in regards to OSHA, HIPAA, and JCAHO.
