Emory Healthcare/Emory University Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor of Biology in Oxford, Georgia
Oxford College, a unique two-year liberal arts college within Emory University, located 36 miles east of Atlanta on Emory’s original campus Oxford, Georgia, invites applications for a one year, full-time, visiting assistant professor or instructor position in Biology beginning August 2024. Each semester, the successful candidate will teach two lecture sections and the accompanying laboratories, or the equivalent, of introductory biology courses for majors and non-majors within a shared curriculum.
We seek candidates to join our vibrant campus who have a commitment to teaching and mentoring a diverse population of motivated first- and second-year undergraduates in a residential liberal arts environment. Oxford’s science facility, which opened in 2016, is intentionally designed to promote student-faculty collaboration, scholarship, and innovative teaching in STEM to support our programs. This position offers a great opportunity for candidates seeking teaching experience at a primarily undergraduate campus.
