Senior Lifestyle Registered Nurse Delegate in Owings Mills, Maryland

The Registered Nurse Delegate is responsible for ensuring state requirements for staff training and/or resident assessments are met.

  • Work closely with community Director of Health and Wellness to manage and coordinate work schedule to meet all Registered Nurse (RN) related regulatory requirements.

  • Registered Nurse Delegate at the direction of the community Director of Health and Wellness shall review the Resident Assessment as required by state regulation and company standard. Each resident assessment shall be completed by, or co-signed by, the Registered Nurse Delegate as directed by the community Health and Wellness Director and or Designee.

  • Conduct and document state specific required staff training as indicated for delegation of task items.

  • Ensure compliance with all state regulatory requirements including mandatory reporting to State.

  • Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation.

  • Registered Nurse Delegate performs other duties as assigned.

Level of Formal Education: Associate’s degree minimum

Area of Study: Registered Nursing

Years of Experience: Entry level (0-3) year minimum

Type of Experience: In a skilled nursing, sub-acute, or memory care setting

Special Certifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in accordance with state regulations and certificate of completion from state approved Delegating Nurse Course if applicable in appropriate state.

Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Competencies: Basic computer skills including Word and Excel

Skills and Ability: Ability to work as part of a team, handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
