Actalent Phlebotomist in Overland Park, Kansas

Phlebotomist - Float PositionJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist to join our team. In this role, you will process samples from clients in a fast-paced environment, handle various specimen types including blood and urine, and enter sample information into our computer system.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and process specimen samples from clients.

  • Handle blood, urine, and other specimen types.

  • Enter sample information accurately into the computer system.

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.

  • Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy-related tasks.

  • Maintain a high level of data entry accuracy.

  • Adhere to all safety and health care protocols.

  • Ensure proper handling and management of hazardous chemical waste, including identification, personal protection, spill control, and record keeping.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year recent experience as a phlebotomist

  • Certificaiton preferred but not required.

  • Able to float to multiple locations as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
