Azure Cloud Engineer
Location: Kansas City Area (Company HQ)
Onsite 5 days a week mandatory
The Challenge:
We're building a secure Azure Government cloud environment to support Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) for government projects. Join us as an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, migrate, manage, and continuously improve this critical platform.
What You'll Do:
Design and implement secure Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools.
Oversee cloud operations, ensuring smooth migration and ongoing stability.
Collaborate with application and IT teams to deploy workloads and integrate with ITIL services.
Continuously improve and optimize the cloud environment for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
Troubleshoot complex Azure issues and implement effective solutions.
We Need You If You Have:
Deep expertise in Azure, including IaaS, PaaS, security best practices, and various Azure services.
Proven experience deploying and managing cloud solutions on Azure.
Strong understanding of compute, network, storage, and databases.
Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred) and scripting languages (PowerShell).
Experience with network security principles and implementing controls in Azure.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies and Azure Virtual Desktop.
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
A Plus If You Also Have:
Microsoft Azure Architect Certification.
Experience with Entra ID configuration and Active Directory integration.
Experience with Windows Server administration.
