Work Schedule, Hours per week: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week
Pay Range: \$20.02-\$25.77 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Provide high-level administrative, clerical, and analytical support for the Industrial Technology Division at Johnson County Community College (JCCC).
Required Qualifications:
- May assist less-experienced team members.
- Requires 3+ years of related experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Handle operational duties to allow the Dean to focus on higher-level strategic tasks.
- Facilitate effective and efficient operations across the Industrial Technology Division by managing administrative aspects of the day-to-day activities, including composing correspondence, scheduling meetings, editing and proofreading documents, and handling inquiries.
- Responsible for managing itineraries, travel and hotel arrangements, and expenses.
- Support the Dean, Administrative Assistants, Lab Technicians, Departmental Chairs, and faculty.
- Assist the Dean with reports, presentations, communications, and departmental performance updates. Research, compile, and maintain departmental records, files, and information.
- Develop queries and analyze and interpret data to produce reports.
- Conduct research as needed. Provide innovative strategies for improving and streamlining operational procedures
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders both within the Division and throughout the college.
- Prioritize requests while balancing stakeholder needs.
- Provide information and assistance to students, counselors, advisory Board members, educational partners, and employers through effective communication.
- Provide operational support by resolving problems for faculty, staff, and students within the Industrial Technology Division.
- Collaborate with other branches of the college to support operations.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of the program Chair and Dean\'s responsibilities, routines, and college policies and procedures.
- Schedule and coordinate events, responsible for communications, logistical planning, and securing resources.
- Maintain and support departmental and division budgets by tracking costs, keeping account balances, and running reports.
- Monitor office supply levels and place orders to replenish supplies, class materials, and equipment for the Division.
- Assist in solving technical and facilities issues.
- Serve as a central point of contact for the Division and effectively prioritize multiple projects independently.
- Provide leadership to departmental Chairs, faculty, and Administrative Assistants by training, answering questions, and providing day-to-day work direction.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for faculty, departmental Chairs, and administrative staff for a variety of internal processes.
- Manage a complex and frequently changing calendar. Resolve overlapping commitment and protect time for shifting priorities. Schedule and coordinate all aspects of meetings and appointments, providing accurate information and updates to all participants. Secure space and work with key stakeholders on logistics.
- Work closely with campus visitors and colleagues from other college offices to solve student issues and answer student questions. Advise students and ensure they are on track to complete their program. Maintain confidentiality of personnel files and student privacy in compliance with federal laws.
- Work closely with high school representatives, program Chairs, and high school students to identify problems and recommend solutions in a timely manner.
- Build the academic schedule for Industrial Technology career programs. Prepare, enter, and review upcoming course schedules. Verify all information is accurate before it becomes public and available to stakeholders. Audit for scheduling conflicts, such as overlaps of rooms and staffing, and accuracy per the state Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) course requirements.
