Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will use hand tools or work by hand to assemble parts, conduct quality control checks, and maintain the work area and equipment. You will be responsible for preparing work by studying parts lists and gathering the necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. The assembler will ensure the correct quantities of component parts are used, perform quality checks on completed items, manage parts inventory, and produce structurally sound products.
Responsibilities
Assemble parts using hand tools or by hand.
Conduct quality control checks on assembled parts.
Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Verify the correct quantities of component parts.
Manage parts inventory.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Experience in mechanical assembly and production.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience as a material handler, parts loader, or utility worker.

The work environment is climate-controlled, and after training, you will operate your station independently while being part of a cohesive team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Otsego, Michigan
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.40 - $18.40
