A Vertical Lead in Sales plays a central role in leading an assigned team to reach and exceed given targets, and at the same time personally contributes to key customer engagements. Their experience and set of social competencies enable tailored coaching, that first establishes and then leverage success critical customer relationships, striving for continued profitable business extension across all products & services.

Your Role

This dynamic role involves the design and execution of measures to maximize individual team member performance within the respective scope of key customers.

Your Responsibilities

1.Understanding of the industry trends, communicate information to the team and execution of defined Corporate Vertical Strategy

  • Actively seeking out and identifying growth opportunities in the assigned industry which may involve identifying potential clients or partners, exploring new market trends or finding innovative product or service offerings

  • Execute the corporate industry strategy by ensuring that supply chain solutions are built and delivered according to industry requirements and the right KN people (in terms of skills, knowledge and behavior) are involved in this solution delivery

  • Communicate effectively the industry trends to the team

  1. Lead and Mentor KAM Team:
  • Leading and coaching respective team of KAMs to ensure a constant development and growth of the Vertical/Key Accounts

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of success and driving individual and team performance

  • Active involvement in the recruitment of the right people within the Account Management Team of given industry

  • Promote knowledge sharing and management within the Account Management Team through content leadership of Industry Knowledge Centre, also sharing knowledge with other vertical teams

  1. Identify New Business Opportunities:
  • Conduct market analysis, prospecting, and networking activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities within the vertical, expanding the client base and revenue streams.
  1. Cultivate Client Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and providing customized solutions to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention

  • Negotiating and establishing partnerships, collaborations, joint ventures, and alliances that can contribute to the company's growth

  1. Performance
  • Controlling performance (GP and volume) and taking corrective actions in case of deviations

  • Securing an attractive and sizeable pipeline and high closing ratio in view of targets and business plan, with related data quality and time accuracy in CoreLOG
