About This Opportunity
The Senior Project Manager will lead and engage internal and external team members toward the successful execution and completion of the construction project. This position will create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet the changing needs and requirements. The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams by managing all aspects of the assigned projects and displaying exceptional tactical leadership throughout their responsibilities.

What You Will Do
Coordinates with GFS sales and assigned core team members to create a project that will meet customer expectations. This requires knowledge and utilization of customer specifications and other contract documents.
Participates in customer and owner coordination meetings.
Serves as the project liaison to our client, develops and maintains project schedule, and monitors project progress and percent of completion.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Manages the project budget, determines appropriate revenue recognition, and ensures timely and accurate invoicing. Analyzes project profitability, revenue, and margins.
Engages in contract review and negotiations
Understands and effectively communicates the business need for each project and make decisions based on what is best for GFS while keeping senior management informed.
Mentors other project managers and provide individual training on project management tools
Displays technical proficiency on the basics of HVAC systems including boilers and chillers
Displays the priority of continuous improvement throughout the department and interdepartmentally with other departments with the intention of exceptional internal/external customer service and improved profitability through GFS.
What You Have to Offer
Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field
7+ years of experience in project management or equivalent combination of education and experience
