JOB REQUIREMENTS: About This Opportunity Global Finishing Solutions is seeking a proactive, positive, and driven Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing strategic relationships to increase sales and revenue through leveraging our current markets and by entering new markets that are not yet capitalized on. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills at all organizational levels, solid presentation skills, and be a quick thinker. Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) is the leading manufacturer of paint booths and finishing systems for a wide variety of industries. Our strength is in custom building finishing equipment to meet the unique needs of each customer. From sales and engineering to marketing and manufacturing, this variety of work makes our jobs exciting. What You Will Do Increase groups market share to grow revenue, transactions, and sales, to meet department goals using industry current best practice and innovative solutions Achieves plan bookings and gross margin goals. Research and evaluate different methods to market including potential sales approach to integrators of companies outside our normal scope of defined \"customers\" and complimentary equipment that if added prove to give us growth opportunity and inroads to future business. Support and engage in strategic business partnerships and product growth initiatives by conducting market analysis and new product need analysist to ensure the voice of customer is being captured. Develop strategic relationships with key customers, architects, consulting engineers, specification writers, design build firms, and contractors to increase market share, product knowledge and brand identity. What You Have to Offer Bachelor\'s degree in business or related field and/or 10+ years of experience in the paint industry or a related field 10+ years of industry experience in sales and applications in custom air handling equipment and other engineered products Proven experience doing risk analysis and market analysis on product offerings with an original equipment manufacturer Experience utilizing a consultative sales approach and providing sales processes and tools to develop other sales engineers Knowledge of latest industry technology in process, automation, robotics, and energy efficient innovative solutions preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Experience creating and delivering technical and/or sales presentations Strong problem-solving skills What We Have to Offer We offer a competitive compensation package, generous incentive plan, 401k and profit sharing,...
