CITY OF OSHKOSH Maintenance Supervisor in OSHKOSH, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor and be at the forefront of maintaining and optimizing the equipment at our Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Stations. This pivotal role involves supervising and training a team of skilled personnel, ensuring the plant operates efficiently and safely. Plant Maintenance and Upkeep: Plan, schedule, and oversee equipment repair and maintenance. Diagnose equipment defects and estimate repair costs. Supervise installation and testing of new or rebuilt equipment. Inspect contracted maintenance work and manage supplies requisition. Employee Supervision: Mentor and instruct maintenance staff. Conduct frequent inspections and take action in emergencies. Record Keeping: Maintain inventory, time, and material records. Adhere to safety policies and procedures. Perform additional tasks as required. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 5 years of experience at the journeyman level in electro-mechanical repair work involving pumps, motors, gearboxes, transmissions and related equipment. Associate Degree in Electro-Mechanical Maintenance or a related field can be substituted for 2 years of experience. Two years of personal computer experience or training.
