JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Assistant Professor Business Title: Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice Employment Class: Faculty FTE: 1.0 Compensation: Competitive FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: Tenure-track Position Summary: The Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (beginning September 2024) for individuals with a particular interest in teaching courses in the following areas: criminal law and/or policing. Ability to teach courses on campus and online (asynchronous) is desirable (the Criminal Justice Department offers both an on campus and online CJ Major). The ability to teach courses involving historically marginalized members of society as it relates to criminal justice is also desirable. The successful candidate will pursue an active research agenda, perform university, college, department, community, and professional service.
